Job summary

Consor is seeking a construction inspector to monitor on-site activities, inspect materials, and ensure compliance with plans and contract documents. The role involves recording daily production rates, scheduling phases with the superintendent, and supporting documentation for final estimates.

Qualifications include a HS diploma, 2+ years in inspection, and DOT certifications. A valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors in varying conditions are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of construction inspection experience.
• DOT Certifications in one or more area.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Obtain any required certifications and pass appropriate qualifications tests for the position in specified time frames.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Field job operating in outdoor environments with exposure to weather and hazards.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 35 lbs and frequent movement.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, observe, document, and verify work in progress to ensure compliance with schedule and contract documents.
• Utilize inspection practices to perform calculations and measurements of completed work.
• Maintain inspector's daily report of activities, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Perform on-site material testing and produce as-constructed sketches as required.
