Job summary

Consor is seeking a Construction Inspector to monitor on-site construction activities, inspect materials for compliance with plans, and support final estimate documentation. You will measure pay item quantities, report daily production, and coordinate with the superintendent and agency personnel.

Requirements include a HS Diploma or equivalent, 3+ years of inspection experience, ability to read plans, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Obtain required certifications and pass tests in timeframes.
• Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Field job in outdoor environments with exposure to weather and hazards.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, observe, document, and verify work to ensure compliance with schedule, contract documents, and plans.
• Utilize inspection practices to perform complex mathematical calculations and measurements.
• Maintain daily inspector reports of activities, labor, equipment, materials.
• Perform on-site material testing and produce as-constructed sketches as required.
