Layton Construction is seeking a Senior Estimator to manage and assist in the preparation of project estimates across multiple programs. The role emphasizes cost accuracy and strong client-facing professionalism during preconstruction.

The Senior Estimator will read plans, perform quantity takeoffs, and develop bid strategies while collaborating with architects, owners, and subcontractors to deliver competitive, well-documented estimates.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction or equivalent education/experience.
• Over five years' experience in estimating commercial construction projects with competence in hard-bid, design-build, and conceptual estimating.
• Knowledge of all construction systems and disciplines to complete cost estimates.

Mansioni

• Prepare estimates and supplementary information for potential projects.
• Read and assess contract documents; offer value-engineering and life-cycle cost options.
• Perform quantity take-offs, pricing, and bid analysis; assist with bid submittals.
