Flintco is seeking an experienced Estimator to plan, coordinate and direct estimating functions for area office operations. You will prepare conceptual estimates, solicit subcontractor bids, lead bid teams and influence potential clients with strong cost analyses.

The role requires 2–5 years of related experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management/Engineering, and the ability to manage complex packages and projects. This is a full-time, on-site position in Oklahoma City.

Formación

• 4 Year Bachelor of Construction Management/Construction Engineering Degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training and experience.
• 2-5 years estimating, cost control and/or engineering experience related to similar construction or equivalent combination of education, technical training and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in coordinating Pre-Construction Service activities with all departments to circumvent and/or resolve problem areas, ensuring all company/project policies, procedures and standards are maintained.
• Develop pricing strategy and game plan for each estimate.
• Develop and maintain a database for all assigned offices with project history for specific market type listings.
• Prepare and tabulate unit quantity survey and price based on historic cost data and vendor cost quotations.
• Solicit subcontractor and vendor quotations, evaluate their scope and appraise any deficiencies as compared with like quotations and estimate requirements.
• Act as Bid Captain and/or Estimator on complex packages or as workload demands; assign work to bid team and review their assignments.
