Jobot is seeking a skilled Estimator for a long-standing General Contractor in Boise, Idaho. The firm specializes in commercial and healthcare construction and is experiencing rapid growth.

The role focuses on preparing accurate cost estimates and leading takeoffs for diverse projects. The ideal candidate has 4+ years in construction estimation, strong leadership, proficiency with estimation software, and excellent communication skills; a Construction Management or related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in construction estimation and cost analysis.
• Proven experience with Material Take Off (MTO).
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with construction estimation software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects (materials, labor, equipment).
• Conduct thorough Material Take Off (MTO) for project budgets.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and advise project management.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and team members for accurate estimates.
• Lead and mentor junior estimators.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into estimates.
• Present budgets to clients and stakeholders and address questions.
• Participate in bidding processes with accurate, competitive estimates.
