Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled estimator to lead cost estimating, bidding, planning and financial performance on construction projects in Idaho. You will prepare accurate cost estimates, develop competitive bids, and work with field teams, customers, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CM, Civil Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of construction estimating and/or project management experience preferred.
• Experience in earthwork, utilities, heavy civil, site development, asphalt paving and related projects preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and documents to develop quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Prepare estimates for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead costs.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Develop competitive bid proposals and participate in bid reviews.
• Collaborate with field operations to monitor progress and ensure project goals are met.
