Jobot is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our growing team and work on a diverse range of projects including hospitals, higher education institutions, schools, commercial buildings, and government facilities. This permanent role covers all aspects of cost estimation from initial calculations to final cost summaries.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in CM/Engineering and 5+ years of estimating experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and cost estimation software.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator in healthcare, education, commercial, or government projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and cost estimation software.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present information clearly.
• Proven organizational and project management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects in healthcare, education, commercial, industrial, hospitality, and government.
• Evaluate blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other docs to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel, or foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Conduct site visits and gather data to accurately estimate costs.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends, tools, and methodologies.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects during planning.
• Prepare and present cost reports and analyses to management and clients.
• Analyze completed projects to compare estimates to actual costs and explain discrepancies.
• Provide improvement recommendations to cost estimating procedures.
