Job summary

Jobot is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our growing team. You will prepare detailed cost estimates for healthcare, higher education, K-12, and private school projects, and review drawings to forecast time, cost, materials and labor.

You will liaise with clients, architects and subs, conduct site visits, and support proposal preparation while ensuring projects stay within budget and schedule. Competitive compensation offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction estimating with healthcare/education projects.
• Expertise in cost estimation, project management and coordination with stakeholders.
• Proficiency with cost estimation tools and project management software.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for healthcare, education and commercial projects.
• Review drawings and specs to estimate time, cost, materials and labor.
• Assist in proposal preparation and client presentations with cost data.
• Conduct site visits and gather data for estimates.
• Maintain a directory of suppliers and subcontractors.
• Liaise with clients, architects, engineers and subs to resolve cost discrepancies.
• Monitor expenditures and process change orders; support project management as needed.
