Job summary

CDM Smith seeks a capable estimators and project controls professional to join our team on diverse construction projects in the United States. You will perform quantity take-offs, cost research, and OPCC preparation for design-build initiatives.

You will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and field teams, develop baseline schedules, manage related documents, and support QA/QC and safety processes to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• 3 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Estimate costs and prepare OPCCs and design-build project estimates.
• Coordinate procurement, subcontracts, and payments.
• Develop project schedules, baselines, and WBS with activity logic and durations.
• Perform field inspections to verify workmanship and QA/QC.
• Assist in VDC/BIM collaboration and drone data analysis.
• Support change management and cost tracking for projects.
