Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator.
• Experience across Hospital, Higher Education, School, Commercial, Federal, State, Government, Retail, Medical, and Civil sectors.
• Strong knowledge of cost estimation principles and methods.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Consult with clients, vendors, and project teams to discuss estimates and resolve issues.
• Develop standard hour data and cost data; identify potential cost reductions.
• Prepare estimates for management planning and scheduling of work.
• Document cost and expenditure statements during project duration.
• Review material and labor requirements to decide buy vs. produce.
• Conduct risk analysis and propose mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on construction technologies and apply to estimation processes.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely, accurate estimates.
