• Minimum 3 years of experience in estimation.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in project estimation, bidding, and blueprint reading.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
• Knowledge of construction materials, processes, and equipment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in estimation software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with minimal oversight.
• Ability to research project-related issues and products.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive, detailed project estimates and bids from blueprints and related documents.
• Analyze plans to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Consult with clients, vendors, and foremen to discuss estimates and resolve issues.
• Conduct studies to develop standard hour and cost data or reduce costs.
• Assess whether to produce or purchase components based on cost.
• Prepare cost and expenditure statements for project duration.
• Track actual costs versus bids as project progresses.
• Maintain a pricing database with current information.
