You will manage large FDV, coordinate with internal teams, and strive for prompt, fair resolutions while upholding our standards for service excellence.

The role requires 10+ years of claim handling with expertise in coverage and litigation management, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to lead and mentor others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 10+ years of claim handling experience or related experience with 3-5 years in serious injury and complex liability claims.
• High School Diploma or GED required; license(s) may be required within three months of starting the job.

Responsibilities

• Directly handle assigned severe claims.
• Full damage value for average claim (FDV) often multi-million range.
• Provide quality customer service and ensure file quality and timely coverage analysis.
• Investigate claims, interview witnesses, and coordinate with internal/external resources to determine liability and damages.
• Maintain claim files and document activities per procedures.
• Develop and employ creative resolution strategies.
• Manage litigated claims with staff or panel counsel as needed.
• Travel up to 30%.
