The ideal candidate has deep construction defect expertise, a track record of strategic settlement, and multi-jurisdictional licenses.

Qualifications

• Seven years' experience adjudicating construction defect claims with exposure of $100,000 or more.
• Bachelor's degree required; additional designations or years of related experience may substitute for the degree.
• Licenses in multiple jurisdictions; ability to obtain additional licenses within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicate construction defect claims at high authority limits with strategic impact.
• Conduct detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to resolve issues.
• Report trends to senior management and underwriters.
• Assess policy coverage and endorsements against the loss.
• Manage claims in litigation and ensure timely resolution.
