Job summary

Argo Group seeks a Senior Construction Technical Claims Specialist Team Lead to adjudicate our most complex construction defect claims from offices in Albany, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Omaha, or Richmond (VA). A remote option is available, except in certain states.

You will lead case investigations and work to deliver superior outcomes for clients and the company. This role emphasizes collaboration, expert analysis, and timely settlements, with on-site work five days a week to

Qualifications

Seven years' experience adjudicating construction defect claims.
Bachelor's degree required; two or more designations or four additional years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
Licenses in multiple jurisdictions required; ability to obtain others within 120 days.

Responsibilities

Adjudicate construction defect claims with high technical complexity and potential material impact on results.
Investigate and analyze claims, interview involved parties and report trends to leadership.
Determine coverage by analyzing policies, endorsements and client instructions.
Coordinate resources and manage claim reserves to reflect policy terms and financial outcomes.
Negotiate complex settlements within authority; ensure cost-effective resolutions.
