Argo Group seeks a Senior Construction Defect Technical Claims Specialist Team Lead to adjudicate complex construction defect claims from one of its offices (Albany, Chicago, LA, NYC, Omaha, Richmond) or remotely in eligible states. This 100% in-office role requires strong leadership, advanced claims handling, and collaboration with underwriters to drive favorable outcomes.

Competenze

Seven years' experience adjudicating construction defect claims with exposure of $100,000 or more.
Bachelor's degree required. Two or more insurance designations or four additional years of related experience adjudicating commercial GL bodily injury claims beyond the minimum experience may substitute for the degree.
Licenses in multiple jurisdictions; must obtain licenses in all required jurisdictions within 120 days of hire.

Mansioni

Adjudicate construction defect claims at high authority limits with significant technical complexity.
Analyze claims, policies, endorsements, and client instructions to determine coverage.
Investigate claims promptly, interview involved parties and manage claims in litigation.
Maintain claim reserves with appropriate consideration of policy wording and losses.
Identify loss drivers and trends to reduce frequency and severity through data analysis.
