Qualifications

Seven years' experience adjudicating construction defect claims with exposure of $100,000 or more.
Bachelor's degree required; professional designations or additional experience may substitute for the degree.
Licenses in multiple jurisdictions; ability to obtain licenses in required jurisdictions within 120 days.

Responsibilities

Adjudicate construction defect claims at high authority levels with significant technical complexity.
Conduct detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to resolve issues.
Report trends and developments to senior management and underwriters.
Review claims forms, policies, endorsements, instructions to determine coverage.
Investigate promptly, including interviewing involved parties.
Manage claims in litigation and ensure timely resolutions.
Set reserves considering policy wordings and reserving implications.
Identify loss drivers and trends to reduce frequency and severity.
