Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate in the Construction Industry to join our CAAS group in Illinois offices. You will manage client service, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll postings, and month-end close with focus on accuracy and timely reporting.

We require 2 years of accounting/financial experience and a Bachelor's degree. The role emphasizes collaboration, process improvement, and delivering quality work for diverse clients within a supportive team

Qualifications

• 2 years of accounting/financial experience required.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Client service: understand client operations and manage multiple clients.
• Lead accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable and payroll postings.
• Coordinate month-end close and prepare/review financial statements.
• Complete sales tax returns, 1099s, and audit workpapers as requested.
• Oversee workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts.
• Assist with special projects and due diligence.
