CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate for the Construction Industry to join our CAAS group in Illinois. You will manage day-to-day finance activities for multiple clients, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and timely close.

The role emphasizes month-end close, reconciliations, and the preparation of financial statements, with oversight of Associates and Analysts. A bachelor's degree and accounting experience are required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of accounting/financial experience required.
• Bachelor's degree required; related experience or training may be considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Develops understanding of client operations; manages multiple clients, software, and chart of accounts.
• Leads accounts payable, cash disbursements, accounts receivable, cash receipts and payroll postings.
• Coordinates month-end reconciliations and reviews financial statements; supports GL and cashflow analysis.
• Completes sales tax returns, Form 1099s, and prepares audit workpapers and tax workpapers.
• Oversees workflow and quality of work of Associates and Analysts; supports special projects.
