You will lead close processes, manage WIP and job cost reporting, and collaborate with project managers to monitor profitability and cost controls. The position emphasizes improving controls and supporting audits and budgeting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, including construction accounting and WIP experience.
• Strong Excel skills and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses.
• Maintain Work-in-Process (WIP) schedules, job cost reporting, and percentage-of-completion accounting.
• Partner with project managers to monitor project performance, profitability, revenue recognition, and cost controls.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and operational decision-making through financial analysis.
• Assist with audits, tax filings, lender reporting, and compliance with GAAP and company policies.
• Drive process improvements, strengthen internal controls, support special projects, and mentor accounting staff.
