Qualifications

• 5–7 years of accounting experience.
• Prior construction accounting experience required.
• Strong knowledge of percentage-of-completion (POC) and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with accounting software and a willingness to learn existing systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounting and day-to-day bookkeeping activities.
• Perform percentage-of-completion (POC) and work-in-progress (WIP) accounting, including project-related financial tracking.
• Prepare and maintain bank reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end close activities and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Monitor project costs and assist with financial reporting related to ongoing projects.
• Maintain and utilize established accounting procedures, templates, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with an experienced accounting professional to support knowledge transfer and ensure continuity of accounting operations.
• Assist with payroll-related accounting and other financial responsibilities as needed.
