Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Accountant to oversee the financials of multiple projects, including budgeting, forecasting, risk assessment, and GL integrity, in a fast-paced construction finance environment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project accounting, HUD experience, strong Excel skills, and a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA or advanced degree is a plus. This on-site West Los Angeles role offers solid compensation, bonus potential, and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance required; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project accounting or similar.
• Experience with ledgers, GL, reconciling, HUD knowledge.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financials of assigned projects including budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports by project.
• Maintain GL integrity; reconcile discrepancies and ensure accurate entries.
• Collaborate with project managers to monitor budgets and costs.
• Ensure HUD compliance and assist audits; improve processes.
