Job summary

Vantage Data Centers Management Company LLC is seeking a Connectivity Manager for its Network Connectivity Department in the United States. The role leads connectivity strategy from feasibility to delivery, collaborating with carriers, consultants, and customers to ensure data center campuses meet network requirements from day one.

The position requires 5+ years in large-scale connectivity delivery, strong project management and negotiation skills, and the ability to work across time zones.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in large‑scale connectivity delivery.
• Solid understanding of data center ecosystems and a network of key providers; degree in computer science or equivalent preferred.
• Project management experience with the ability to conduct full feasibility studies.
• Knowledge of customer requirements, business drivers, financials, and legislative requirements.
• Strong IT skills and ability to use multiple communication tools and software packages.
• Demonstrated strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication at all levels; capable of working across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Lead feasibility through contract execution and delivery (e.g., lit fiber).
• Contribute to design, schedule and CAPEX estimates during pre‑construction phases and assist with relevant contract negotiations.
• Brief and transition ownership of fiber infrastructure to VDC Construction Managers for execution.
• Develop and maintain regional connectivity strategy aligned with management direction.
• Ensure accountability across all connectivity projects including budget and schedule management, and stakeholder coordination.
• Stay current with new technologies and opportunities to enhance future deliveries.
• Ensure sites meet customer network requirements and manage KMZ creation and last‑mile schedules.
• Acquire dark fiber facilities to enable day-one activation for customers.
• Negotiate carrier agreements to reduce costs while ensuring availability.
• Support campus/building designs for conduit routing and MMR/POE layouts; qualify consultants/vendors.
