Job summary

Jobot is seeking a New Product Development Sr. Conjugation Scientist to lead the design and optimization of novel conjugation technologies for diagnostics manufacturing.

You will drive the development of monoclonal and polyclonal antibody conjugation processes, collaborating with Process Development, Manufacturing, Quality Control and Regulatory to deliver robust products. The role emphasizes technical leadership, data-driven improvement and a commitment to compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years in conjugation science, process development and optimization.
• Experience with monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, stoichiometry and reaction kinetics.
• Knowledge of protein conjugation principles: cross-linking, biotinylation and labeling.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and optimization of new conjugation technologies focusing on monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies.
• Apply stoichiometry and reaction kinetics to improve existing processes and create innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with Process Development, Manufacturing, Quality Control and Regulatory to ensure successful product development and launches.
• Provide technical guidance for post-conjugation steps: purification, characterization and stability studies.
• Analyze process data, identify trends and drive improvements for efficiency and yield.
• Prepare and review technical documents, including process development reports and regulatory filings.
