Job summary

Nurix Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a hands-on antibody conjugation scientist to build a new capability from the ground up, linking bioconjugation chemistry to automated, high-throughput workflows for in vivo and translational studies.

You will develop and optimize antibody bioconjugation methods (NHS ester, maleimide, click chemistry), design automation-friendly protocols, and scale conjugation runs while collaborating with medicinal chemistry, analytical chemistry, and CRO/CDMO partners.

Qualifications

PhD preferred; MS/BS with substantial bioconjugation experience considered.
Hands-on antibody/protein bioconjugation experience including NHS ester, maleimide, click chemistry, site-specific methods.
Experience purifying and characterizing conjugates (FPLC/AKTA, TFF, SEC, IEX, RP-HPLC/UPLC, HIC, LC-MS).
Experience preparing automated execution protocols (Hamilton/Tecan) a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize antibody bioconjugation methods for attaching degrader payloads and linkers to antibodies.
Design conjugation chemistry with automation for transfer to liquid-handling platforms.
Execute scale-up conjugation runs (mg to multi-mg) for pharmacology and PK/PD studies.
Purify conjugates via FPLC/AKTA, TFF, and chromatography; troubleshoot yield and stability issues.
Write SOPs and technical reports; train automation team in conjugation workflows.
Collaborate cross-functionally with chemists, computational chemists, and CROs/CDMOs.
Stay current on emerging bioconjugation methods and bring new techniques to Nurix’s pipeline.
