Job summary

Orrick is seeking a Conflicts Analyst III to support compliance and risk management for potential new business. The role may be based in any West Coast office or fully remote in the US, with adherence to West Coast hours.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of conflicts analysis experience in a large law firm and strong analytical, research, and communication skills. Proficiency with Intapp is preferred, and team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of conflicts analyst experience, preferably at a large law firm.
• Working knowledge of Intapp products preferred.
• Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills.
• A problem-solver with strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential ethical and business conflicts of interest for new business.
• Conduct research, analysis, and documentation of potential conflicts of interest.
• Prepare detailed conflict of interest reports and present findings to Firm partners.
• Review new business intake forms for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Review draft engagement letters and maintain engagement letter records.
• Ensure timely processing of new business requests.
• Collaborate with General Counsel and Risk Management regarding conflicts and compliance.
