Job summary

Orrick currently seeks a Conflicts Analyst III to support compliance and risk management for potential new business. The role may be based in U.S. West Coast offices or fully remote within US locations, with preference for West Coast hours.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of conflicts analysis experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with conflict research and Intapp products. Strong collaboration with attorneys and staff is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable experience required.
• Minimum 5 years of conflicts analyst experience, preferably at a large law firm.
• Working knowledge of Intapp products preferred.
• Excellent analytical, research, and organizational skills.
• A problem-solver with a strong attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential ethical and business conflicts of interest in new business.
• Conduct comprehensive research and documentation of potential conflicts.
• Prepare detailed conflict of interest reports for firm partners.
• Review new business intake forms for completeness and compliance.
• Review draft engagement letters and maintain engagement letter records.
• Ensure timely processing of new business requests.
• Collaborate with General Counsel and Risk Management on conflicts matters.
• Participate in training and process improvement initiatives.
• Support customer service needs as assigned.
