Job summary

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) seeks a Senior Configuration Analyst - II to support Veterans Affairs remotely. You will manage configuration, releases, and cloud migration across regulated environments, and establish CM standards.

You will build automation, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliant deployments while coordinating with stakeholders. U.S. citizenship and Public Trust clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering complex software builds and releases across environments.
• Experience in large, regulated or federal settings.
• Deep expertise in software configuration management and release engineering.
• Knowledge of development, QA, systems engineering, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Support VA applications and migrate to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain CM tools for identification, control, reporting, and delivery of software and COTS.
• Perform CM and release engineering tasks ensuring parameters are documented and compliant.
• Design and automate build procedures for product development.
• Train developers in CM tools and quality standards.
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate with stakeholders.
