You will develop CM tools, build procedures, and standards, while training developers and collaborating with stakeholders. Requires strong automation, scripting, and DevOps expertise with a focus on reliability and reproducibility.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading complex software builds and releases across environments.
• Experience in large regulated or federal environments.
• Deep expertise in configuration management and release engineering.
• Broad knowledge of development, QA, systems engineering, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Support VA applications and migrate to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain CM tools for identification, control, reporting, and delivery of software and COTS products.
• Perform CM and release engineering tasks ensuring documentation and hardware configuration compliance.
• Design, develop, automate, and maintain productivity tools to improve software modeling and development.
• Design and implement build procedures to support software product development and use.
• Develop CM standards for company-wide adoption.
• Train developers in CM tools and quality practices.
• Provide technical guidance and solutions to complex problems.
• Operate autonomously and meet deadlines across projects.
