Job summary

Concrete Strategies Inc. seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex concrete construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and profitability. You will oversee budgets, schedules, and client satisfaction while coordinating with field leadership and design professionals.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and a proven track record in multi-disciplinary teams. Travel to project sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Progressive experience in construction project management with responsibility for execution and financial performance.
• Experience managing complex commercial construction projects and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Understanding of construction contracts, project controls, scheduling, cost management, procurement, and change management.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel to project locations as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through execution, turnover, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal partners.
• Establish project objectives, execution strategies, schedules, budgets, and performance expectations.
• Maintain accountability for overall project financial performance including cost forecasting, profitability, and cash flow.
• Review project costs and forecasts, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead contract administration including review and management of contractual requirements and changes.
• Coordinate schedules, manpower plans, logistics plans, and sequencing strategies with field leadership.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure project teams comply with safety policies.
• Ensure quality standards and project requirements are understood and maintained.
• Identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation or execution strategies.
• Lead project meetings and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Oversee procurement and subcontractor activities to support project schedules and requirements.
• Mentor and develop Project Managers and other team members.
