Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne, CA is seeking a Communications Security Account Manager (COMSEC Analyst) to own COMSEC accounts, key issuance and destruction, and interface with customer counterparts. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in COMSEC, with experience in CNSSI 4005/4001, KMI, DIAS, and NSA/CSS policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; OR 3+ years of professional experience in COMSEC or a security field in lieu of a degree
• 1+ years of experience in COMSEC or a security field

Responsibilities

• Independently manage COMSEC accounts, key issuance, and destruction procedures
• Perform and oversee self-inspections, inventories, and compliance activities to company standards
• Operate, troubleshoot, and configure End Crypto Units including the KG-175 suite, KGR-42, and KG-250 suite
• Prepare COMSEC deliverables such as security plans and key management plans with limited oversight
• Interface with customer counterparts at the security execution level and present to leadership
