Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne is seeking a COMSEC Analyst to own critical COMSEC disciplines that support secure launch vehicles, satellites, and ground systems. You will implement secure solutions while ensuring national security requirements are met, without slowing innovation.

Responsibilities include managing COMSEC accounts, inspections, and key material; operating KG-175/KGR-42/KG-250 units; interfacing with customer counterparts and presenting to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in COMSEC or security field
• 1+ year of experience in COMSEC or a security field
• Experience with CNSSI 4005 & 4001 and related COMSEC policies
• Experience presenting to leadership and interfacing with customers

Responsibilities

• Independently manage COMSEC accounts, key issuance, and destruction procedures
• Perform self-inspections, inventories, and compliance activities
• Operate and configure End Crypto Units including KG-175, KGR-42, KG-250
• Prepare security deliverables and key management plans
• Interface with customer counterparts at security execution level and present to leadership
