Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Communications Security Account Manager to independently manage COMSEC accounts, issue and destroy keys, and conduct compliance activities in a classified environment.

You will operate crypto units (KG-175, KGR-42, KG-250) and prepare security deliverables while interfacing with customer counterparts and leadership. A bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in COMSEC is acceptable, with at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; OR 3+ years of professional experience in COMSEC or a security field in lieu of a degree
• 1+ years of experience in COMSEC or a security field

Responsibilities

• Independently manage COMSEC accounts, key issuance, and destruction procedures
• Perform and oversee self-inspections, inventories, and compliance activities to company standards
• Operate, troubleshoot, and configure End Crypto Units including the KG-175 suite, KGR-42, and KG-250 suite
• Prepare COMSEC deliverables such as security plans and key management plans with limited oversight
• Interface with customer counterparts at the security execution level and present to leadership
