Job summary

SpaceX in Hawthorne is seeking a COMSEC Analyst to own COMSEC accounts, manage key issuance and destruction, perform self-inspections, and maintain compliance with national security requirements while supporting space launch vehicles, satellites, and ground systems.

You will operate and troubleshoot End Crypto Units (KG-175, KGR-42, KG-250), prepare security deliverables, and interface with customer counterparts and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of professional experience in COMSEC or a security field in lieu of a degree.
• 1+ years of experience in COMSEC or a security field

Responsibilities

• Independently manage COMSEC accounts, key issuance, and destruction procedures
• Perform and oversee self-inspections, inventories, and compliance activities to company standards
• Operate, troubleshoot, and configure End Crypto Units including the KG-175 suite, KGR-42, and KG-250 suite
• Prepare COMSEC deliverables such as security plans and key management plans with limited oversight
• Interface with customer counterparts at the security execution level and present to leadership
