Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a COMSEC Analyst to own key disciplines critical to the security of launch vehicles, satellites, and ground systems. You will implement secure, compliant solutions and interact with customer counterparts while briefing leadership.

The role requires handling highly sensitive information in a classified environment, with extended hours and potential travel tied to program needs. A Top Secret clearance is required or pursued as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; OR 3+ years of professional experience in COMSEC or a security field in lieu of a degree.
• 1+ years of experience in COMSEC or a security field

Responsibilities

• Independently manage COMSEC accounts, key issuance, and destruction procedures
• Perform and oversee self‑inspections, inventories, and compliance activities to company standards
• Operate, troubleshoot, and configure End Crypto Units including the KG‑175 suite, KGR‑42, and KG‑250 suite
• Prepare COMSEC deliverables such as security plans and key management plans with limited oversight
• Interface with customer counterparts at the security execution level and present to leadership
