Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a COMSEC Analyst to own key COMSEC disciplines supporting security for launch vehicles, satellites, and ground systems. The role offers opportunities to implement creative security solutions while meeting national security requirements without slowing innovation.

Responsibilities include managing COMSEC accounts, performing inspections, and delivering security plans, while interfacing with customer counterparts and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of professional COMSEC/security experience
• 1+ year of COMSEC or security experience

Responsibilities

• Independently manage COMSEC accounts, key issuance, and destruction procedures
• Perform self-inspections, inventories, and compliance activities to company standards
• Operate, troubleshoot, and configure End Crypto Units including KG-175, KGR-42, KG-250
• Prepare security deliverables such as security plans and key management plans
• Interface with customer counterparts at the security execution level and present to leadership
