Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager for Computer Vision in the US. The role leads the strategy, roadmap, and execution of the enterprise CV platform, partnering with internal product leaders to define requirements and drive adoption of AI models and infrastructure.

You will own end-to-end CV product initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and measure platform success through defined metrics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of technical program management experience, with a focus on platform products, AI/ML, or complex, cross-functional technical domains.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building machine learning models, production ML pipelines, computer vision algorithms, or ML data products.
• Deep understanding of computer vision and machine learning, ML lifecycle (MLOps), data platforms, and architectural trade-offs.
• Proven experience defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps with KPIs/OKRs.
• Strong analytical skills with AI performance metrics and real-time video processing experience.
• Leadership at a Principal level, guiding senior leaders and communicating complex concepts clearly.
• Customer-focused with experience in early-stage discovery and internal/external stakeholder engagement.
• Domain knowledge in video analytics for security, retail, or manufacturing is a plus.
• Pathfinding: experience defining highly ambiguous concepts and discovery for emergent initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and roadmap for the Computer Vision Platform aligned with the product portfolio and strategic goals.
• Lead internal partnerships, engaging with product leaders to define platform requirements (APIs, capabilities, scalability).
• Create MRDs, PRDs, and user stories for platform capabilities and select end-to-end computer vision products.
• Own the product lifecycle for central CV models and AI infrastructure from ideation through deployment and deprecation.
• Define and track metrics (adoption, performance, latency, cost-efficiency) to drive platform success.
• Conduct market research and customer discovery to identify opportunities and inform buy/build decisions.
