Blue Origin is seeking a seasoned engineer to support the development and operations of large aerospace structures. The role focuses on on‑the‑floor engineering support, resolving build issues, and driving continuous improvement across the production system for PA hardware.

You'll work with design, manufacturing, quality, test, and operations to disposition nonconformances, lead root-cause analysis, and implement ECOs/ECRs.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in production, test, or sustaining engineering for aerospace structures
• Experience with composites structures and aerospace hardware
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and 3D models (Creo/Windchill or CATIA)

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary engineering liaison for PA hardware on the production floor
• Own MRB dispositions for nonconformances and repairs
• Lead triage and corrective actions for build issues and test anomalies
• Support daily production operations and clear blockers to maintain schedule
• Coordinate ECRs/ECOs and feed back to drawings and specifications
• Monitor production defects and drive systemic improvements to reduce rework and cycle time
• Support readiness reviews, RCCAs, and anomaly boards with PA hardware
• Communicate status of production risks and mitigations
