Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Senior Strategic Program Lead to own end-to-end GFCO compliance programs across SAM, EDD, and complaints. You will partner with Compliance Tech, EAA, Ops, WFM, Legal to translate regulatory obligations into scalable programs across jurisdictions.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in program management, AML/CFT knowledge, and strong stakeholder leadership, with proficiency in PM tools. This remote-friendly role offers competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

6+ years of program or project management experience, with 3+ years in financial crimes compliance.
Ability to independently drive large-scale, multi-stakeholder programs in a regulated environment.
Deep understanding of AML/CFT program operations and related tech.
Experience navigating Known Problem / Unknown Solution environments with constraints.
Strong strategy and storytelling skills for Director+ audiences.
PM tools and data tools experience (Asana/Jira, Looker, Snowflake).
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Operations, Finance, Law, or related field.
References required for L5+ roles.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end program strategy, planning, and execution for complex GFCO areas.
Develop and drive charters, roadmaps, and governance for long-tail programs.
Lead cross-functional delivery across XFN teams and external parties.
Translate regulatory obligations and model signals into actionable program strategies.
Support launch readiness for new products and jurisdictions with mapped obligations.
Identify and resolve program risks; manage competing priorities for GFCO leadership.
Drive cost savings projections with automation and maintain accountability for actuals.
Own intake discipline for automation requests with documented requirements.
Author and maintain strategy documents (P/PSs, RAPIDs, charters) for decisions.
Manage feedback loops between automation outputs and QC findings for improvements.
Lead major incident and regulatory deadline responses.
