Job summary

Total Wine & More in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Senior Manager, Compliance to lead our HR Compliance program and oversee regulatory adherence across the organization. You will develop and implement compliance programs, audit activities, and policy revisions while partnering with internal legal and HR teams to ensure accurate interpretation of federal, state, and local requirements.

You will mentor cross-functional teams, monitor compliance metrics, and provide expert guidance on wage and hour,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Law, or related field (or equivalent years of experience).
• 7–10 years experience in HR compliance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; CRCMP/CCEP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage compliance programs and policies.
• Act as liaison with regulatory agencies.
• Lead risk monitoring and policy reviews across functions.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and report to senior leadership.
