Job summary

Roers Companies is seeking a Compliance Manager in Phoenix, AZ to lead the Compliance Department, ensuring timely processing of affordable housing certifications and adherence to LIHTC, HUD, HOME, and investor requirements. The role partners with Operations, Leasing, and Asset Management to meet occupancy and compliance goals, driving performance and process improvements.

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of LIHTC regulations and affordable housing compliance.
Strong leadership and coaching skills.
Ability to interpret complex regulations and communicate them effectively.
Outstanding organizational and project management abilities.
Experience interpreting federal, state, and investor regulations.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the Compliance Department with leadership of Specialists.
Ensure processing of initial certifications, annual recertifications, and unit transfers.
Monitor timelines and SLA adherence; conduct quality reviews and audits.
Stay current on regulatory changes and communicate updates to teams and partners.
Partner with operations, leasing, asset management, and development to support compliance goals.
