Job summary

Gorman & Company, a nationwide affordable housing leader, is seeking a Compliance Manager for a remote role. You will lead a team, guide compliance across HUD, LIHTC, PBRA, and HOME programs, and partner with internal teams to keep properties in line with changing regulations.

With 8+ years in affordable housing compliance, you will oversee audits, implement corrective actions, and stay current on regulatory updates, while mentoring staff and ensuring strong relationships with agencies across

Qualifications

• 8+ years of direct affordable housing compliance experience.
• LIHTC and HUD program experience required.
• PBRA and HOME experience strongly preferred.
• COS or TCS certification required; HCCP certification preferred.
• Experience with RealPage OneSite or a similar property management system.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Compliance team, guiding daily questions and audits.
• Review applicant, move-in, transfer, and recertification files for compliance.
• Conduct on-site and remote audits, identify deficiencies, and coordinate corrective action.
• Prepare responses to MORs, agency audits, and inquiries.
• Monitor lease-ups, occupancy, waitlists, and LAPs across systems.
• Analyze regulatory documents to ensure system-wide compliance.
• Maintain compliance forms and update manuals and workflows.
• Validate configurations in RealPage OneSite and other systems.
• Collaborate with Training to deliver compliance training.
• Stay current on HUD, LIHTC, PBRA, HOME regulations and share guidance.
