Job summary

Gorman & Company, LLC is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead a nationwide portfolio of affordable housing communities in a remote capacity. You will supervise a Compliance team, guide HUD, LIHTC, PBRA, HOME compliance, and coordinate audits and regulatory responses.

You will review file eligibility, oversee site-level data, and partner with internal teams to ensure accurate calculations and ongoing compliance across programs. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of affordable housing compliance experience.
• LIHTC and HUD program experience required.
• COS or TCS certification required; HCCP certification preferred.
• Experience with state agencies, audits, and regulatory inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Compliance team, provide guidance on audits and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve applicant, move-in, transfer, and recertification files for eligibility and compliance.
• Conduct on-site and remote compliance audits, identify deficiencies, coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare and submit responses to agency MORs, audits, and inquiries while maintaining relationships with agencies.
• Monitor lease-ups, occupancy, LAPs, and regulatory compliance across systems.
