Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee the contracting lifecycle from intake to execution. The role focuses on complex negotiations, risk management, and building governance practices to support growth.

The candidate should have a Master’s degree in a related field and 5+ years in compliance or a related oversight function, with strong English communication skills and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a compliance, legal, risk management, audit, or other oversight function.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Familiarity with manufacturing industry regulations and standards is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of relevant business, commercial, and regulatory laws.
• Understanding of quality and compliance standards such as ISO and similar frameworks.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and compliance-related systems or databases.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the organization’s contracting process from intake through execution.
• Lead complex negotiations, help reduce contract cycle times, and manage legal and compliance risks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
• Review customer, vendor, and employment agreements for legal and regulatory compliance.
• Support compliance related to customs, trade regulations, and other business requirements.
• Develop and implement compliance tools, processes, and management systems.
• Conduct internal compliance reviews and audits.
• Deliver compliance training and awareness programs.
• Prepare compliance reports and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
