Job summary

Vaco by Highspring in the United States is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead complex commercial builds from conception through closeout.

You will oversee budgets, scheduling, subcontracts, bid preparation, and compliance with safety standards, working with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

The role requires a Bachelor's in CM or Civil Eng, 5+ years of PM experience, and PMP or equivalent is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction project management.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost scheduling, RFI, subcontract administration, construction closeout, scheduling, and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle from conception to closure.
• Manage project budget and cost scheduling to meet deadlines.
• Review subcontracts and conduct contract negotiations.
• Interpret construction drawings and inspection reports.
• Prepare and submit bids; address queries promptly and accurately.
• Administer and manage subcontracts per specs and company policies.
• Oversee construction closeout and ensure documentation submission and approval.
• Knowledge of AIA billing, lien, change orders, and claims.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones.
• Manage change orders with proper documentation and approvals.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams for smooth execution.
• Identify and mitigate risks and resolve conflicts.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• OSHA safety compliance.
