Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee the contracting process from intake to execution and lead complex negotiations. The role focuses on reducing cycle times, managing legal and compliance risks, and supporting growth through governance practices.

The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree and 5+ years in compliance or related functions, with strong negotiation and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in a compliance, legal, risk management, audit, or other oversight function.
Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
Review customer, vendor, and employment agreements for legal and regulatory compliance.
Support compliance related to customs, trade regulations, and other business requirements.
Develop and implement compliance tools, processes, and management systems.
Conduct internal compliance reviews and audits.
Help prevent and address issues related to data privacy, corruption, ethical conduct, and other compliance risks.
Deliver compliance training and awareness programs.
Prepare compliance reports and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership.
