Job summary

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP is seeking a Senior Compliance Attorney to join the Legal and Risk Management team. The candidate will evaluate, interpret, and implement client retention documentation, including OCGs, NDAs, and engagement terms, aligning them with ethical obligations and firm policies.

The role emphasizes collaboration with General Counsel, Conflicts, and other stakeholders, ensuring issues are resolved and client requirements are clearly documented.

Responsibilities

• Review outside counsel guidelines, NDAs, NDAs, BAA, RFP terms, and engagement contracts and advise on firm compliance.
• Draft and revise client engagement terms and responses in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Lead or support negotiations with clients to protect Firm interests while addressing client priorities.
• Monitor responses and maintain contract/version control in the Intapp repository.
• Assist training and guidance of Compliance team members and ensure standardized results.
