Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP is seeking a Senior Compliance Attorney to join its Legal and Risk Management team in a hybrid capacity in the Washington, DC area. You will evaluate, negotiate, interpret, and implement client retention documents, NDAs, and related terms, ensuring ethical obligations and firm risk tolerance are aligned.

Formación

• JD degree required and bar in good standing.
• Minimum five years in a law firm, with ICC/OCG experience preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication; ability to handle sensitive information.

Responsabilidades

• Review outside counsel guidelines, NDAs, and client terms and advise on compliance.
• Draft exceptions and responses to client terms with internal stakeholders.
• Lead or support negotiations with clients to protect firm interests.
• Monitor OCG responses and maintain version control for contracts.
• Oversee due diligence requests and draft responses identifying risk issues.
• Maintain the Intapp repository and contribute to the OCG playbook.
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk Management and Conflicts teams on issues.
• Develop tools and processes to improve client-guidelines workflows.
