Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP in the United States is seeking a Senior Compliance Attorney to join the Legal and Risk Management team. The role focuses on evaluating, negotiating, interpreting, and implementing client retention documentation, OCGs, NDAs, and related engagement terms.

The successful candidate will resolve issues, ensure ethical obligations are met, and help improve firm policies. This is a hybrid role, collaborating with stakeholders while maintaining high professional standards.

Competenze

• JD degree required and must be licensed in good standing in a U.S. state.
• Minimum five years at an AmLaw 100 firm with four years handling outside counsel guidelines negotiations.
• Excellent written and oral communication; strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with legal ethics and privilege issues.
• Proficiency in Intapp is a plus; strong Word/Excel skills; ability to work in a hybrid team.

Mansioni

• Review outside counsel guidelines, NDAs, and client contracts; advise on compliance.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders; draft exceptions and responses.
• Lead negotiations with firm clients and communicate issues.
• Maintain client guidelines, redline changes, and Intapp repository and OCG playbook.
• Assist conflicts and risk-management teams and share best practices.
