Job summary

Qualifications

• Legal education and bar admission; strong background in professional responsibility and client retention.
• Experience with client guidelines, outside counsel guidelines, and retention documentation.
• Ability to analyze complex legal and business issues and document findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Implement policies and procedures governing client-retention relationships under supervision.
• Draft, negotiate, interpret, and implement OCGs, retention documents, RFPs, and related materials.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders and clients to align expectations and documentation.
• Analyze client OCGs, retention docs, and RFPs; resolve outstanding matters with Partners and teams.
• Monitor global compliance with OCG terms, including conflicts checks and ethics screens.
• Coordinate input from subject-matter experts for client guidelines and retention docs.
• Partner with practice groups on compliance requirements and process improvements.
