Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking a Senior for the Compliance Advisory team to deliver advisory and consulting services to governmental, tribal, private, and not-for-profit organizations. The role focuses on grant management, compliance, internal controls, and policy development to strengthen client processes and organizational effectiveness.

You will collaborate with clients and team members to assess needs, develop practical solutions, and guide implementation of improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, public administration, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience; public accounting or professional services preferred.
• Experience with grant management, compliance, internal control reviews or assessments, or internal audits.

Responsibilities

• Support grant compliance monitoring activities and review subrecipient performance.
• Lead grant compliance reviews and develop actionable findings and recommendations.
• Lead internal control reviews, audits, and operational assessments.
• Develop and enhance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Draft client deliverables, findings, and reports; communicate results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with clients to improve compliance, controls, and operations.
• Communicate project status and results to team and clients; review junior staff work.
